Hummm.. interesting. Isn't it possible to create files with ">>" on
Windows?

A better solution would be to introduce some way in xchat to handle
"special" queries. I barely remember to see Peter mention something
about it, but I might be wrong.

Peter, do you have any suggestion about this?
