Nevermind. :)
Any work on it will probably quite a bit slower from
now
on.  Besides jd, no one seems to need this and he
knows
how to add in what he needs anyway.  As for the part
about not having users edit scripts, it should be
possible to embed IRC.pm into the plugin like the
functions for loading scripts.  However, if entry into
CVS means pasting in the old functions then I rather
never see it make it into CVS.
