emacs keybindings in xchat 2.0.3 for windows

Hi,
 
I've loved emacs keybindings in earlier versions of xchat for windows,
mostly ctrl-u to clear the buffer. Recently I've tried out version 2.0.3,
and I can't make emacs keybindings to work. I've added the line
gtk-key-theme-name="Emacs" to gtkrc in the installation directory, but it
still doesn't work. Xchat seems to recognize that emacs keybindings are
enabled, since the default window closing behavior changes from ctrl-w to
shift-ctrl-v, but nothing else works. Do I have to download an unofficial
build to make it work again?
