Probs with 2.0.3 and 1.8.10

Hi there!

As it seems that my mail from this morning didn't make it, I will
restate the matter (hopefully it doesn't leed to a dupe ;)

I've got a little problem with xchat 2.0.3 and joining big channels.
When I do so, I receive a "sendq exceeded" message from the server and
get thrown off. In xchat 1.8.x there was an option not to send a
/whois-command to the channel when joining which could've fixed that
prob but unfortunately it seems not to be in the preferences of version
2.0.3...
Is there probably a SET-Variable that could help me here???

With Version 1.8.10 I've got the following prob: It freezes eventually
under RH9 :( The only thing in common with all tests was that there was
a dcc-receive running. I compiled xchat in both cases myself (with a
perl-patch and the dccserver patch which both seem to be working fine)
and had no problems with 1.8.10 under RH7.3...

The system is running with RH9 (with actual updates) and kernel 2.4.21.
Both versions are compiled with only configure-option "--prefix=/usr".

Any ideas?

regards,
    patrick
