Hi
on my debian testing, "make" returns this (after making the Makefile to pint
to the real moc, which is /usr/share/qt3/bin/moc, and adding the real
locations of Qt libs):
bash-2.05b# make
/bin/sh ./libtool --silent --mode=compile --tag=CXX g++ -I. -I. -I..
- -I/usr/include/kde -I/usr/include/qt3 -I/usr/lib/qt3/include
- -I/usr/X11R6/include -DQT_THREAD_SUPPORT -D_REENTRANT -Wnon-virtual-dtor
- -Wno-long-long -Wbad-function-cast -Wundef -Wall -pedantic -W -Wpointer-arith
- -Wmissing-prototypes -Wwrite-strings -ansi -D_XOPEN_SOURCE=500 -D_BSD_SOURCE
- -Wcast-align -Wconversion -O2 -fno-exceptions -fno-check-new -c
flashwidget.cpp
/usr/share/qt3/bin/moc ./flashapplet.h -o flashapplet.moc
/bin/sh ./libtool --silent --mode=compile --tag=CXX g++ -I. -I. -I..
- -I/usr/include/kde -I/usr/include/qt3 -I/usr/lib/qt3/include

Question: why is there no "configure" script so that i can make flash-applet
compile on other systems who have headers in other locations than the
mandrake default (i assume that this is where "make" currently searches for
them)?
and a feature i'd like to see - flash-applet configfile could have an "icon"
entry or something similar, so that i could specify the icon i want to blink
in the system tray. also, it could probably be useful to let flash-applet use
more than one icon for those, who would, for example, be monitoring X-Chat
and their mailbox.
regards.
