xchat notify utility (flashapplet)

Hi !

I've started a project to make a KDE panel applet to help notify xchat users 
when they are working in other programs. Until now my speakers had to be 
turned on or I should switch between xchat and the program I was working in 
to see if a message had arrived. The first release has just been made.

The only thing that makes xchat not perfect is that it cannot "flash-notify" 
like mIRC. The panel applet should help on this matter and together make a 
perfect IRC client. To listen for activity the applet monitors the xchat 
log-files and it starts to flash when there's a change in the size.

There is a tutorial on the homepage for xchat users.
