The file gdb is looking for is plugins/perl/perl.c in the xchat
sources. I get that error message when I'm not running gdb/ddd from the
base xchat source directory.
I'm on Redhat 8 (perl-5.8.0-55) and I segfault there too. It's that
darn "PL_perl_destruct_level = 1;" line. If I skip over it in ddd, then
I segfault inside the "perl_auto_load ();" function. If I skip over
that, then things seem to work ok but I can't manage to actually connect
to any servers...
I'm experimenting a bit, but does anyone have any ideas?
