1.9.3/-20021024: Segfault on connect

       On the latest devel snapshot (20021024) I still get the
       segfault immediately after starting xchat when:

       a) Popup new tabs to front is unselected
       b) Open extra tabs for server notices is unselected
       c) Attempt to Connect in New Tab to a second server

       This happens whether I do the connection to the 2 servers
       automatically (1.9.3) or manually (20021024). I'm compiling
       without perl support, on mandrake cooker. Attached is
       config.log from 20021024 compilation, which includes
       (hopefully) the info for all relevant packages. If any more
       info is needed, I'd be glad to give it.
