hi all,
 This is my 1st post to this list so please excuse any lame things I say 8-)

I am running X-Chat v1.8.10 for Windows on my XP machine & although in the online faq it says X-Chat does not use Ident, whenever i run X-Chat port 113 is always held by it. Is this a problem or can I release it somehow? I have checked the dialogues & I cannot find any reference to ident.

Lasty, I think X-chat is one of the best IRC clients I have tried. It's not bloatware it's small, well written, easy to use & works flawlessly. Apart from what I said above 8-).
