If anyone is going to whine about this being non-standard, note that another mIRC extension to the DCC protocol is already implemented in X-Chat -- namely, DCC RESUME. That's also implemented in numerous other clients, such as BitchX. Occasionally, Khaled Mardam-Bey does something intelligent.
