Killfile.

It would actually be nice if there was an option on the administration
site for this list (and others on the same server) to killfile other users
on the list at the server-end, and to unsubscribe anyone whom everyone has
killfiled, but until that's implemented (and it will probably never be),
make a killfile, set up procmail, etc.

I read his e-mails, laugh at him, and then delete the mails. Your flames,
when posted to the list and directed at one person, without allowing a
cool-down time between reading the message and responding, don't... well,
they help the situation if you scare him off, but they're quite frankly
almost as annoying as his are (despite my agreeing with you).

Please, either killfile him, ignore him, reply privately, or give yourself
a 15 minute cool-down time before replying. That way, everyone benefits.

Incidentally, something that may alleviate your displeasure (I'm not
certain as to the exact nature of your annoyance with HTML mail) is
disabling HTML rendering in your mail client. I've used most major mail
clients for UNIX, Windows, and MacOS, and it seems that most (with the
exception of Outlook for Windows) allow you to disable HTML rendering. I
know Pine 4.43 does (enable prefer-plain-text), as I'm sure does Mutt,
which I never use. Yes, it won't keep you from recieving it, but it will
keep you from seeing it.
