Bug Hunter, I think you may be confusing the server password option with
something related to nickserv. In the server list, there is indeed a
password option, but that's for connecting as a special user class. Most
IRC servers don't use connection passwords, but some private ones do... it
can be used to restrict people to connect only from certain ips yet still
allow outsiders to connect if they know the password... stuff like that.
NickServ doesn't know what's entered in there, and the server ignores it
if you don't have to connect using a password. What you can do instead is
set the connect cmd to your nickserv identify command.
