You where right, as one of the first things i did when starting to use X-Chat
was to use a even file which made X-Chat "mimic" AmIRC.
However, although while starting up X-Chat without a pevents.conf file works
fine, the part reason still have no dedicated arg, ie $4, and all attempts to
copy the default event string for part also leads to no part reason being
displayed. It would be nice if was possible to use custom event layouts and
still have the ability to show part reasons.
Default X-Chat:
event_name=Part
event_text=<%C10-%C11-%O$t$1 %C14(%O$2%C14)%C has left $3
My custom event:
event_name=Part
event_text=%C1<--$t$1 ($2) has left channel $3%O
Also tested:
event_name=Part
event_text=%C1<--$t$1 ($2) has left channel $3
but no reason was shown then either.
The availible args for the part event is:
$1 - nickname
$2 - hostname
$3 - Channel
But no mention there about reason, which leads me to belive there is
something odd somewhere.
If im missing the obvous.. feel free to point it out =)
