as far as go my experiences, this is not necessarily related to the DBI
module, i experience very similar problems with my own scripts. Not
immediately at the first reloads, but after a maximum of 5 reloads,
somehow the libs aren't found anymore....

i think the embedded perl module looses some paths or get somehow
corrupt...
