So the join > 30 channels bug is part xchat/part GTK/GNOME?

Because try putting in testchannel[1-30], xchat tries to connect to the
channels as a server.
Yet, it crashes when it tries to join a minimal amount of channels at
one time.

I mean, with a perl script, it can do the joining of 30 channels with no
problems.
However, xchat's method is much faster, will this be fixed in 1.8.8.?
