Auto Open Dialog Windows

Hello,
is it possible to use the "auto open dialog windows" option only for ppl
in my notify list?

If not (I couldn´t find a way already), is it possible to access this
"open dialog window for nick $nick" in a perl Script to create something
like this on my own?

Last thing...
Is it possible that anybody explains me how to read the xchat-source and
how to create a patch?

I never coded a word in C++, so, I must learn this language. But how do
I read the quellcode? There are so many files... ?

Please explain it or send me links to do it. Thanks.
