xchat 1.8.0 & mandrake 8.0

 Have any of the Mandrake 8.0 users loaded the
xchat-1.8.0 rpm from the cooker site and had a
problem?
I loaded it and when I select it from the menu it will
not open. If I open a terminal and type xchat, I get
the error missing libperl.so Has any one else had this
problem, and if so, what did you do to resolve it?
