Xchat 1.8.0 crashes X (Solaris 8)

Hello Everyone,

	I downloaded and compiled xchat-1.8.0. The compile went well, but when
I startup the 
xchat executable and log onto a IRC server (then click on a users nick
with the right mouse button
, which gives info about the users) then whole X session dies and
returns to the Solaris DTlogin screen.
Anyone have any idea why this is happening ? I also tried to run xchat
in "gdb", but the X session dies
just like before. Thank you in advance for your help.
