How can I set xchat to create an extra logfile for every day? With this log 
name mask "%s,%c.%y.xchatlog" xchat creates a logfile called 
server.#channel.20010625.xchatlog but it also continues logging to that file 
even after midnight
one big logfile per channel is really a mess once it reaches a few hundred 
kbyte
