Without patch :

13170 blah 9 0 30608 29M 4624 S 1.5 9.5 6:09 xchat

With :

13169 blah 9 0 18680 18M 4716 S 2.9 5.8 5:25 xchat

Same channels, joined at the same time (within seconds) and left running for ~
3 hours. There were a total of ~ 700 users in all the channels combined. All
timed events seemed to work fine during the test.

I imagine if something really odd pops up down the road, we can back out the
changes Peter? If so, I say put it in! This is quite significant, and we owe
Martin a pat on the back. This is something that's been around for aeons ;).

Cool ;)
