RE: LinkSys router and identd
You have http to the router and go to 'advanced' then to 'forwarding' (if
memory serves).
Then type in port 113 then the local IP of the linux machine. click 'apply'.
hope that helps.

Subject: LinkSys router and identd
Hi, all.
I just got my LinkSys router up, and I have a Windows machine and a Linux
machine. On my Linux machine, I'm trying to get xchat to go out, but it
keeps saying I don't have identd installed and running, which I actually do.
I think it has to do with the firewall that LinkSys sets up. Anyone know
how
to get identd past the LinkSys firewall? TIA.
