Request for change of xchat (using linux 2.4 Mandrake)

I am programming scripts in perl for Xchat, and needed the function to
activate a specific TAB
and then close it.. Would that be possible to request for a change in next
release

you already got /CLOSE (closes current tab).. but need parameter to close a
specific TAB.

or combine with /SETTAB  (which could activate and bring up front if choosen
in options).

Thanx for doing such a great job on x-chat.
