Re: identd problems
Heya,
if you drop a ident packet with your firewall it will never work. If you
return it, dalnet will give it some trys and will connect with a mask
like nickname!~content@bla.provider.xx
It´s a good choice to set your ident-response manually. So you can open
this port and it´s not too insecure. I haven´t found another choice as I
set up my firewall.
As already recommended, oidentd or pidentd are good tools for this.
