Re: xchat 'replace menu' 'bug'
The xchat replace menu changes by default u to you and n to and, but
however it is parsing if you type u'd it would change to youd, and u've it
changes to youve. I use the replace menu as a form of shorthand and it
would be much more useful if it treated ' as it does -., etc, by treating
it as a 'normal' character so that I could add corrects that change u'd to
you'd instead. Even more idealy would be if it recognized that there was
an unmatched "'" and preserved it in the substition, but I know it's
possible to do the former, but not sure if the latter is.
I'm still using the stable branch, but haven't seen anything mentioning
any improvments to the replace code yet, and this bug goes back as far as
I can remember.
