The proxy (on windows machine) is an extremly simple proxy about 300kb 
that handles
http :6588
ftp  :21
socks4/5 :1080

mIRC works with socks on :1080 and if I select proxy on :6588.  xchat 
doesn't work however I do it.  I'm sorry I don't have the exact error 
(because I'm forced to use windows for internet) but remember it was to 
to the effect of 'unable to resolve hostname irc.myircserver.org'.
 
I cannont implement any NAT type routing because somehow ISP software 
detects it. maybe they portscan me or something?

mIRC works so I assume somhow it gets DNS lookup through proxy.. I'm 
talking about stuff I don't know about now, any solutions people.
