FW: Is it possible to change a param in a handler ?

Sorry if you get this one twice. First time didn't go through,
so I repost it.


Is it possible to change a param from inside a handler ?
i.e. when calling "/server foo.com"

sub handle_server {      
   @_[0] = "whatever else";

   return $NEXTHANDLER;      # proceed to xchat handling
}

and that would issue a /server whatever else ?
