If you have a named running on your machine, you might want to check that -- 
I've had your problem happen a couple of times earlier tonight, but it all 
seemed to clear up when I restarted the name server.

The only thing weird about that is that the named on my machine *isn't* the 
default, sO I can't really see what effect that would have to begin with
