jazz
Hi,
you guys should also look at Jazz, which is a java based version of Pad++,
on which one of Ben Pederson (one of the creators of Pad++/Jazz) graduate
students is creating a presentation manager version of Jazz.
Check out http://www.cs.umd.edu/hcil/ and follow the links to Jazz.
I created a presentation in it, and it is truely fantastic. Nothing of this
static powerpoint type stuff, this rocks, and of courwe the advantage of
java is that one can - in principle - embed dynamic things in the presentation.
Personally i think HTML should not be discarded, everybody has a browser, and
you can do pretty amazing things in that too!
groetjes,
peter
