free trial.  Please go to www.freedombox.info and sign up today! You can
download the software directly from the website or, if you prefer, order a
CDROM.  (Allow 7 days for delivery.)

            Two versions are available for download.

·        Basic Freedom Box running DECTalk text-to-speech (37 megabyte
download)

·        Freedom Box with AT&T Natural Voices (480 megabyte download)

We suggest that you download the basic version unless you have a DSL or
other broadband connection.

This trial allows 1 authorized user per download.  So if you have friends or
family who want their own accounts, please have them sign up individually.
To participate you must have an Internet connection (ISP) and a valid e-mail
account.  We will e-mail your account access info once you have completed
the registration process.

Your computer must be running Windows 98, ME, XP, or 2000.  It must operate
at 400 MHz or faster.  You must have a minimum of 128 megabytes of RAM to
operate
Freedom Box basic and 256 megabytes of RAM to operate Freedom Box with AT&T
Natural Voices.  You must have a SoundBlaster compatible sound card, a noise
canceling microphone and either a headset or speakers or both.  Basic
Freedom Box software requires 100 megabytes of free disc space.  If you
download
the version with AT&T Natural Voices you will require 1 gigabyte of free
disc space.

The trial is for exactly 30 days from the time of on-line registration.  You
can convert your trial account into a full Freedom Box account at any time
during the trial, by calling our toll-free number, 1-877-661-3785.

We invite our international friends to participate in this trial.
International members must have an alternate Internet connection if they
decide after the trial to stay with the service.  Freedom Box does not
currently offer direct dial connections outside the continental United
States and Canada.
