My goof is your gain
When I started SoftwareCEO.com in January, I created a special price
promotion for the first 500 members: I gave them a year's subscription for
$95, rather than the usual $195.
Well, I didn't pay much attention to signups at the outset, because I was
up to my eyeballs with other so-called emergencies -- just the typical
startup stuff -- and I figured it would take at least nine months to reach
my 500.
Oops. We hit the 500 registered members last month. Good for me, bad for
those of you who've been on the fence about joining SoftwareCEO.com.
So, here's what I'm going to do: I'm extending the charter member price to
the end of this month: If you sign up by June 30, you can still get in for
$95. This will give you a year's access to all the Buyers' Club discounts
(they now total $6,605), and nearly all of the files in the Downloads
library. (The only thing you don't get is my M&A/IPO tracking; for that,
you'll have to step up to the $195 membership.)
Keep in mind, the Buyers' Club discounts work for everyone at your
company. Buy one annual subscription to SoftwareCEO.com, and you can send
five of your sales reps to, say, Mike Bosworth's CustomerCentric Selling
seminar and save $1,050. Order one subscription to Softletter, and you
save $120. Register three people for Software Business 2002 this
September, and save up to $300. You get the picture.

In the SoftwareCEO Downloads library, I've now assembled 60+ useful
software docs, ranging from license agreements (in several varieties) to
sales forecasts to HR policy manuals. If you asked an attorney or a
consultant or other high-priced wonk for just one of these templates,
you'd spend more than $95 before you got off the phone. And, I'm adding
new documents all the time.

This $95 promo is a fabulous deal -- but it ends June 30. Even at the
regular $195 price, it's still a bargain, but why not save $100? Sign up
today.

P.S.: If you've not visited SoftwareCEO before, there's a "QuickTour" that
will take you through the highlights:
http://www.softwareceo.com/tour/index.php.
P.P.S.: A handful of people have asked why I don't offer a free trial
membership. Well, I'm not selling a newsletter that dribbles out content
over the span of a year. As soon as you join SoftwareCEO.com, you can
access ALL the killer discounts and ALL the great file downloads, (and you
still get new info and resources every week).
In order to prevent a few scoundrels from taking advantage of what I've
built, I'm asking for a measly $95 commitment upfront.
BUT THERE'S STILL NO RISK: If during your first 30 days of membership you
decide that SoftwareCEO has not given you more than your money's worth,
I'll refund your entire subscription fee. No questions asked. (Well,
actually, I'll probably ask a few marketing-research-type questions,
because I'm always looking for ways to improve the site.)
So if you want to cheat, you still can: Join now, grab all the downloads
and discounts, and ask for a refund next week. But I don't think you'll do
that.
