[opensource] Politiek ook al Open Source.

behalve Open Source software en Open Source onderzoeken nu dus
ook al Open Source verkiezings-campagnes. Ziehier een quote
afkomstig van een van de mailinglijsten die ik bijhoudt. In dit
geval gaat het om het zeer mainstream fenomeen CNET.COM. Hieronder
volgen nog wat highlights - en daarin onder meer nog een indicatie
dat Microsoft werkt aan een inbedding van het Open Source concept
in haar bedrijfsfilosofie.

Wat quotes (en wat van mijn evangelisatiewerk er tussen :)

Uiteraard. 

Zo jelui weet houdt ik staande dat Microsoft inmiddels ook bezig
is met het integreren van de Open Source gedachte in haar bedrijfs-
filosofie. De juiste weg hebben ze nog niet kunnen vinden, denk ik,
maar ze zijn ijverig aan het zoeken. Ik behoor niet tot die stroming
binnen de OpS beweging die meent dat Microsoft te star is of te dom
is om hier goed mee om te gaan en meen ook dat het bedrijf voldoende
intelligent is om in te zien dat de enige reactie in dit geval is:
"if you can't beat it, join it."

Ziehier nog wat quotes met aan het eind een extra indicatie dat ik 
met mijn mening niet geheel alleen sta.

Hier blijft trouwens onverlet gelden dat het voor de acceptatie van de
Open Source gedachte niet zo heel erg belangrijk is wat Microsoft
doet met Open Source. Het is vooral voor de acceptatie van Microsoft 
in de toekomst belangrijk in hoeverre zij de Open Source gedachte
onverminkt over gaan nemen. Je mag me citeren.
