Well, eventuallly, I want everything to be separate. I agree that it
can be a bit of a nuisance right now (I know, I have the whole lot on
a slow NFS server) but it helps to think of everything as individual
bits. 

Mnemonic-core has been unchanged for quite some time now, and the same
is true for lib-layout, lib-tcpconnection and lib-url. More and more
modules will reach a stable state soon and it will be possible to
distribute them separately.
