configure
Hi,
Does it bother anyone besides me that we have so many configure scripts to
run? :-)
I've seen configure scripts that write makefiles, etc. to subdirectories.
This would look cleaner, in my opinion.
Is there a technical reason why each directory has a configure/autogen.sh?
If not, and if nobody objects, shall I look into changing this? I'm no
configure/automake/autoconf expert, so it would take me a while. I
wouldn't change the existing make sequence until I had something that
worked. No need to slow you guys down.
