I bookmark things I find interesting. That means a couple a day.

Of course. Just brainstorming. I need to get a newer egcs and
glibc to even work on Mnemonic (and I am a bit weary to break
anything at the end of the semester).

Optional.

That was in case it would turn out hard to come up with keywords
oneself.

Then you still have to index and sort everything manually. I can
do that now with Netscape. The only difference would be the support
for drag and drop (in the case of 3.x anyway).
The actual storage of the file should be of no interest to the user.
The user should have a powerful and easy to use interface to manipulate
the bookmarks.
For example what if I have a bookmark to a page about C++ programming
in good use and then it uses Mnemonic as example. It goes on to make
an in depth analysis of Mnemonic.
Should I then put this bookmarks under Programming->C++ or under
WWW->User_Agents->Mnemonic? Maybe I should make a
Programming->C++->Case_Analysis or WWW->User_Agents->Mnemonic->Critique.
Or..
Of course right now most people will think hierchally (sp?), but
I think a relation based view is more efficient.
Maybe both would be possible.
