My first exam is soon here, so I won't have time to do any coding
before Saturday.

I just remembered by the way that GTK+ uses .appname+rc for
configuring the program. This means that you can change colours and
fonts etc... But I think you have to tell GTK+ that it should parse
that file. 

I don't know, but there will have to be some configuration concerning
the oils ? Which you have and which are disabled etc. ? Perhaps making
a .mnemonic directory and put the config files there is smart?
