After having re-installed linuxthreads as well as the threaded
x libs, and 'rm -R'ed the CVS tree and 'cvs co'ed again, 
I still cannot get the damned thing to get beyond

I triple checked that there are no old oils floating around.


I think there's still a bug somewhere ;-)
