Sure, we have a modular design which will allow us load diffrent display
object depending on user specifications. Currently there is only the
gtkdisplay, but we plan to also write an text display that won't need X11,
but it will also be possible to create an display object using your
favourite toolkit and use it...

I suppose we could split up the gtk display into smaller parts so that it
will be possible for example to loading diffrent gtk button bar objects with
diffrent button styles, and then anyone can write there own buttonbar
object just the way they want it...
