Yoga & stackable streams

Hi,

I just had a look at the Yoga webpages (http://samba.anu.edu.au/gnuotes).
It's basically a Lotus Notes replacement, but the interesting thing is
that they are working on what they call 'stackable streams', very similar
to our filter/filterstack idea. I think we should pay some attention
to where they're heading.

A message I mailed to the Yoga coordinator is appended below.

Hi Paul,

I just bumped into the Yoga pages. I'd like to draw your attention to
the 'FilterStack' concept used in the web browser Mnemonic
(http://www.mnemonic.org), which is _very_ similar to your stackable
streams idea. It's C++. We'll have a running, fully modular (ie. you
can add binary plugin filter modules to the browser, even at runtime)
release out soon.

We have done a lot of thinking about how to make a modular web browser,
and I think both projects could benefit from sharing ideas. I'll
subscribe to the Yoga mailinglist.

Best,
Kasper
