Politics and such aside, the reason I asked was because stealing
some functionality might save time in getting something limping
along -- if the targets are chosen wisely. Of course, if they use
a different GUI library then stealing the GUI code doesn't make
much sense [This is true, btw, isn't it?]... However, stealing
something like the basics of the HTML/SGML parser may be useful.
It is just often easier to get the ball rolling with something that
does something like what you want, even if it does it the wrong
way.
