I tried yesterday to install glibc2.0.4,libg++2.7.2 and xfree3.3 (glibc)
I had to compile libg++ by hand.
This morning i remembered that i saw a gcc compiled for glibc so i took a
look and found also the needed libg++...
After installing both it works fine, and xfree3.3 glibc version comes is
precompiled for threads.
So i've now:
gcc2.7.2.1 (glibc)
libg++2.7.2.5 (glibc)
glibc2.0.4
xfree 3.3 (glibc)
gcc and libg++ came from ftp.mcc.ac.uk/pub/linux/ALPHA/GCC
glibc came from a gnu mirror
xfree 3.3 came from xfree...
