LINCOLN, ON - February 25, 1999 - Linux, the fastest rising computer
operating system for business and the Internet, has 10 million users and
growing faster than Window NT.  Major computer companies, including IBM,
Compaq, Oracle, Netscape and Corel, have Linux editions of their
products or have announced releases in the next three months.

PegaSoft is pleased to announce the beta release of their new Linux
product, System Manager in a Box (SMiaB).  This administration tool
addresses a key weakness in Linux: the need for experienced system
administrators to diagnose installation, configuration and run-time
problems.  Using artificial intelligence techniques, SMiaB performs more
than 2000 system checks and reports not only which files have problems,
but which systems are affected and why.  Bugs, which normally would have
taken hours or days to track down, can be identified and explained in
seconds.

SMiaB runs on all major flavors of Linux, including Red Hat, S.u.S.E.
and Slackware.  The program is Intranet-ready with HTML and CGI support,
and is completely expandable through third party plug-ins.

SMiaB 1.0, scheduled for release in late spring 1999, will include
commercial editions geared especially to business.
