If you can set up SSH connections to the outside, then
I'm willing to give you a shell account on nl.linux.org
so you can edit the code remote. Alternatively you can
just execute CVS remote and scp the docs to your machine.

You should probably join the kernel-doc list as the
linux-perf list is more about performance instrumentation
and in-kernel stuff.
