I would argue for a "specific task" approach. IE: prepare answers
to common questions as

. How do I make my web server go faster?
. How do I make mysql answer selects() faster?
. How do I make my samba go faster?

etc.

Answering questions such as these will be of more benefit than
long, unsorted documents addressing all kinds of unrelated topics.
