Rik,

I am interested in this project.  Here's a short summary of what I can
offer:

I am more than mildly technical having been a system manager and
developer for VMS systems and applications. During the normal course of
my work activities I have done (and still do when required) technical
writing in the form of specs (technical and design), user training
material, operations and support documentation.  

I have only just started exploring the Linux world. Editing/sprucing
up performance documentation sounds like a good way to learn more about
Linux. Page and web site design are not my forte - I'm much better with
words.  Presenting your content on the site in a reader friendly fashion
and correct english would be the best use of my writing skills.
