Intro
As I see the traffic is about to take off, I might as well join in the
list of intros:
First kernel 0.12 (before I knew what linux was, just some mates saying
"hey check this out"). Using consistently ever since from ISPs to my uni
labs - USyd EE.
Can handle HTML :) Better at Java and C, but definitely on the high end
of the technical scale. However, I'm joining up for the writing side to
finally give something back. As I can get very technical, hopefully I
should be able to help out as interpreter between the two sides as well.
My background is fairly extensive in technical writing - A Draft ISO
Standard (VRML97 External Authoring Interface), and number of IETF
Internet Drafts for the URN people, as well as I'm currently writing
book number 8. The book writing has ranged from introductory stuff right
through to the super advanced/theoretical and all programming (VRML and
Java). Also, maintainer of a couple of FAQs (Java3D and JSDT). What's
one more writing task :P
Oh, Yes, I come from a land Down Under. Currently Perth, Western
Australia (at least last time I looked).
Anyway, enough of the strutting, point me in the direction of something
to write about.....

"Look through the lens, and the light breaks down into many lights.
Turn it or move it, and a new set of arrangements appears... is it
a single light or many lights, lights that one must know how to
distinguish, recognise and appreciate? Is it one light with many
frames or one frame for many lights?" -Subcomandante Marcos
