Introduction, test...

Hi all,

A small test to see if I can reach the list.

And a small introduction to me, as I am new around here. I volunteered for
helping out on the performance-tuning webpages, as a way to do something back
for the community. 

I live in Enschede, the Netherlands and graduated in Computer Science last
year. I have been using Linux for quite some time now (kernel 0.99pl11 is 
the first kernel I have compiled, which puts me to around 5-6 years of Linux 
usage). I have some fluency in creating webpages (although I don't have the
nerve to call it design.. :-) ) and am slightly capable of telling a coherent 
story.

I hope that I can be of some assistance in creating these (apperantly) much
needed pages.

But enough of me.

Can anybody fill me in on the current state? I.e.: what is my starting point?
