Which Linux distributions use UTF-8 by default today?
I'm trying to keep track of the status of UTF-8 use in operating system
distributions. Which operating systems are setting up for their users
by default a UTF-8 environment today?
I have so far:
Plan 9 since ~1993
Red Hat Linux since Version 8.0 2002-09
Fedora Core since Release 1 2003-11
SuSE Linux since Version 9.1 2004-05
Ubuntu Linux since ? ?
Any others?
