It's been noted before (by Markus Kuhn), around the 0.3 patch early spring
2001.  I've also looked at the 0.6 patch in detail when someone commented that
it was incorporated into Solaris 9, and now that you mention it, see this is
the 0.7 patch.  The 0.6 patch was poor quality - I would not make something
like that available (if you read it closely, there are a number of small
errors), and had no list of changes.  I ran vttest on the corresponding
code and noted some problems.

I see the 0.7 webpage does have a partial changelog, and since I'm working
on a patch for xterm, will probably test the 0.7 version.
