I tested XIM input with UTF-8 XTerm under UTF-8 locales.
I used UTF-8 XTerm 156 with a small modification (to use
XmbLookupString() instead of XLookupString() and to support
OverTheSpot preedit type). This patch will be introduced
in another mail.
I succeeded to use Ami.
LANG=ko_KR.eucKR ami &
LANG=ko_KR.UTF-8 XMODIFIERS=@im=Ami ./xterm -u8 &
However, I failed to use kinput2, skkinput, and xcin.
(kinput2 and skkinput can be invoked but cannot input
characters. xcin cannot be invoked.)
