Luit 0.7 is now available from

  ftp://ftp.dcs.ed.ac.uk/pub/jec/programs/

News in this version:

 - implements proper output buffering, which vastly improves speed and
   should fix a bug reported by Robert de Bath;

 - locale sensitive: just type ``luit'', and the right thing will
   happen;

 - support for Big 5;

 - made GR point to G2 in non-EUC locales, as this avoids conflicts
   with the standard scheme for using the DEC special character set
   (semigraphics);

 - fixed some bugs related to keyboard input.

Note that the locale support uses the ``locale.alias'' file, so if
you're installing on a machine without X, make sure that you have this
file.
